Description
Take desktop 3D printing to a new level with the BCN3D Sigma D25
The BCN3D Sigma D25 is the successor to the Sigmax R19 3D printer from the Spanish manufacturer. The Sigma D25 builds on the solid foundation of the Sigmax R19 while adding some useful innovations. The D25 is BCN3D’s newest printer in the desktop segment. The device convinces with some useful innovations such as a new touch screen, network functionality, a revised material feed and the integration into the BCN3D ecosystem.
Powered by IDEX technology
The Independent Dual Extrusion System technology developed by BCN3D makes the difference in 3D printing. The two independent print heads allow multiple materials to be used within one print. This speeds up printing time and unleashes creativity.
- Mirror mode: A mode that allows mirrored designs to be printed symmetrically and speeds up iteration.
- Duplicate Mode: A setting that prints identical models simultaneously, doubling production capacity.
- Support material mode: A process that prints water-soluble support structures to enable intricate structures and avoids geometric constraints..
- Multi-material mode: A technique that allows you to print on two different materials and combine their properties.
Advanced features and functionalities
The Sigma D25 differs from previous models (Sigmax R19) not only in appearance: the most popular BCN3D printer has been redesigned with the latest features and new functionalities, offering full accessibility for seamless daily operation.
Surface heating and calibration
Improved heat distribution thanks to the aluminum building panel and silicone thermal pad, which distribute heat evenly across the printing surface. The calibration process has also been refined with an optimized firmware calculation system that allows for more accurate leveling adjustments.
Embedded electronics
New embedded electronics provide full connectivity and enable access to the Internet and BCN3D cloud.
Repositioned extrusion system
The extruders have been repositioned on the back of the printer to reduce the distance to the hot end and avoid overheating problems.
Reinforced axis
Both the X and Z axes have been reinforced. The former by a material change to stainless steel and the latter by multiple changes to its mechanical structure.
An ever-expanding offer of professional materials
Work conveniently from your desk with the safest materials BCN3D has selected for you. Developed by renowned chemical companies BASF and Mitsubishi Chemical, BCN3D filaments are optimized to work seamlessly with all BCN3D printers. Simplify your workflow with preset configurations and simple commands.
