The EinScan-SE is a powerful companion for educators and individuals. The 3D scanning experience is one of the easiest on the market and is also suitable for non-technical users. The intuitive operation combined with the good scan quality provides an excellent price/performance ratio.
The EinScan-SE has two scan modes:
- Automatic Scan: Here the rotary disk is rotated one full rotation. Thus, the object is scanned once from each side, so that a completely closed model is created. The automatic scan takes about two minutes for one pass.
- Fixed Scan: In fixed scan, a single image is created. This single image is then added to a larger scan if necessary. This single scan takes about eight seconds.
The scanner uses a light projection and does not use lasers or similar. This means that it can be used without hesitation in an environment with children.
The EinScan-SE is a well suited companion for a 3D printer. The Auto-Meshing function of the scan software creates waterproof models and thus offers a seamless integration into a 3D printing process.
